Be part of New Braunfels’ oldest heritage tradition, the historic Kindermasken Parade! Hermann Seele, one of the city’s first teachers, founded this costumed parade for school children as early as 1856. He wanted a May Day celebration for children to remember their German heritage. Some local families have participated in the parade for seven generations! Make historic Kindermasken Parade a part of your family tradition. Join us the first Saturday in May in historic downtown New Braunfels. Parents, click here for information on participating.
